Content Writing Case Study: SEO Blog Writing for Conturae
Services: SEO content writing | Blog writing | Brand voice copywriting
Conturae is a tech start-up specialising in cutting-edge, AI-supported SEO content creation. I first met Joe, one of the founders, while the platform was still in development. When Conturae launched, they brought me on board as an expert blog writer to help establish credibility, demonstrate the quality of their content — and show their audience exactly what great writing looks like.
Alongside writing blogs for Conturae’s clients, they also needed high-quality articles for their own website to position themselves as experts in SEO content writing.
This is where I came in.
The Brief
Conturae wanted to publish a series of thought-leadership articles that would:
- establish the brand as a trusted source of SEO and content strategy advice
- demonstrate the value of expert human writing
- attract small business owners and marketers
- convert readers into customers
- reflect Conturae’s brand voice: knowledgeable, accessible and human
They weren’t looking for generic keyword-filled SEO content.
They wanted articles that:
✔ rank
✔ educate
✔ persuade
✔ and actually get read
The goal was to show why investing in high-quality content leads to better engagement, stronger authority and – ultimately – more conversions.
What I Delivered
I wrote a series of SEO-focused blogs, including two cornerstone pieces:
1. Content Writing Mistakes to Avoid: Tips from the Pros
An educational, search-optimised article designed to attract business owners frustrated with content that isn’t performing.
2. The Importance of High-Quality Blog Writing
A foundational piece explaining why well-researched, well-written blogs outperform low-effort keyword stuffing — and why quality writing leads to real results.
Each blog was:
- written in Conturae’s brand voice
- structured for SEO
- researched to align with user intent
- designed to showcase the standard of writing Conturae offers
- optimised for both readability and conversions
The Outcome
The content landed exactly where it needed to.
Joe and the Conturae team were over the moon with the final articles, noting how each one balanced:
- SEO strategy
- clarity
- engaging messaging
- strong brand voice
- practical value for readers
Our shared goal was to create content that wasn’t just “good for Google”, but genuinely useful for the audience — something that builds trust, authority and long-term value.
These blogs helped strengthen Conturae’s early online presence and provided high-quality examples of the expert writing available through their platform.

The Brief

The key focus was the new food and Christmas cocktail menu, ensuring that the seasonal menu and New Year event were highlighted. The Harvey Nichols brand is elegant, sophisticated and luxurious. This was combined with the aspect of Christmas cheer and celebration. Alongside what may be a traditionally adult focus, there were Christmas breakfasts with visits from Santa to promote.

Case Study: Platinum Villas
The brief from Platinum Villas was to create new copy for some of their website pages that captured their brand and attracted a specific customer base. The brand needed to sound polished and sophisticated, speaking to customers looking for an indulgent luxury holiday. The copy focused on language designed to sell an experience, rather than a traditional holiday. It was also essential to create a brand voice that reassured the customer that their every need would be catered for. The copy created focused on the destinations and also the bespoke services provided by Platinum Villas.

The brief from Valentin was to write all the copy for his brand new website for IV Property Development. There were two key areas which were a priority. The first was to ensure the wide range of services provided by IV Property Development was fully showcased. The second was to convey the quality finish and high-end nature of the work carried out. My research of the construction and property development field allowed me to write copy which created a strong and competitive online presence.
